Main Idea: In Australia, learning facilities are more formal and depersonalized than they are in Boston.

Paragraph 7: Topic: college atmosphere; 
Main Idea: BC’s atmosphere is that of a happy family, while in Australia students are just a number.

Paragraph 8: Topic: relationships with teachers; 
Main Idea: In the U.S. this relationship is close and open, as opposed to in Australia, where students keep their distance from teachers.

B. Paragraph 1: Main Idea: American high school students have more choice and express themselves more openly than Turkish students.

Paragraph 2: Topic: the expense and culture of New York and Tokyo; Main Idea: New York is more expensive and more diverse than Tokyo.
